I started my career writing code — and immediately discovered I had a talent for breaking it. That detour into QA turned into a calling. I loved the puzzle and the practice of it: understanding systems deeply enough to find where they'd fail before users did. Working with the design, the tech, and the process of software development. And appreciating the people side of software as much as the bytes.

In 2009, I founded OnPath Testing with a simple idea: small and mid-sized companies deserve the same quality engineering that enterprises get, without the enterprise price tag or bureaucracy. I wanted to bring a down-to-earth philosophy of meeting my clients where they are at, integrating with their team in their process, all while making their software better. Today we're a team of 20+ engineers helping companies from scrappy startups to established brands ship software they're confident in.

But I'm not just a QA guy. I'm a builder at heart — whether it's a business, a tool, a team, or a process. I get energized by taking something messy and making it work. I care about craft, about doing things right, and about the people on the other end of the software we ship.

Right now I'm deep in the intersection of AI and quality engineering. Teams are shipping AI-generated code faster than ever, and the question everyone's asking is: does it actually work? How can we do this better? That's the problem I've spent my whole career solving — and it's never been more relevant.
